Who is texting you
Texts sent through Emerald CX come from the business you booked with or contacted, using a number that business registered through us. Each business has its own program terms on its booking page at /b/[business]/policies.
Types of messages
- Transactional: booking confirmations, reminders, queue updates, receipts, replies to your own messages and missed-call follow-ups.
- Marketing: offers, rebook nudges and campaigns — sent only if you separately agreed to marketing texts, never between 8 PM and 8 AM your local time.
Consent to marketing texts is never a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Opting out and help
Reply STOP to any message to stop texts from that business. Replying with words like “stop texting me” or “unsubscribe” also works. Reply START to re-subscribe, or HELP for help.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
For businesses
You must register your brand and campaign (A2P 10DLC) through Emerald CX before sending, collect consent with the wording we provide, and follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We enforce STOP handling, quiet hours and daily limits on every account.
